A superb billon tetradrachm from Seleucis and Pieria, struck in Antioch during the rule of Philip I ‘The Arab’. A great portrait and finely detailed eagle with wreath on the reverse.

This coin holds pleasing details on both sides, with the gorgoneon on the Emperor’s breastplate being a particularly striking detail.
